Severe weather threat has passed, continue to exercise caution and report hazards

The severe weather threat from Hurricane Iasias has passed Tallahassee and Panama City. There is a slight to marginal risk of additional severe weather possible today and this evening as some gusty winds and rain persist. Individuals should exercise extreme caution and avoid debris. Please report any new or previously undiscovered hazardous campus conditions related to the storm to FSUPD at 850-644-1234. Individuals should follow the instructions of local authorities for their surrounding areas.
Dining and other student services will resume normal operations at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Campus Services

Tentative operating hours for campus services listed are pending weather conditions. Please note that most campus buildings will be on swipe access while normal operations are suspended.
Seminole Dining (Updated 4:25 p.m. ET Friday, Oct. 9)
Suwannee and Seminole Cafe will close at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, and resume normal operations at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10. Visit Seminole Dining for updated operating hours at each location.
Transportation & Parking
Bus service will operate until noon Friday, Oct. 9. FSU Safe Rides will operate Thursday, Oct. 8, but be closed Friday night. It will resume normal hours on Saturday evening.
Students parked in the North Circus Lot #437 and the Stadium Drive Lot #480 are urged to move their cars as these lots tend to be flood prone. The Spirit Way Garage is a nearby alternative that also provides an opportunity to get undercover on the lower levels.
Campus Recreation (Updated 4:25 p.m. ET Friday, Oct. 9)
Leach will be open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11. The Leach Center pool and spa areas are open 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. each day. A limited group fitness class schedule is planned for Saturday and Sunday. Regular hours and program schedules resume Monday.
The Fitness and Movement Clinic and FSU Lakefront Park are closed through Sunday. The Main Campus Fields, Westside Courts, and Rec SportsPlex are closed Friday and Saturday. Sunday hours dependent on field conditions. No Intramural Sports leagues or events will occur Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Schedule updates will be communicated to teams in the coming days.
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)
Virtual services can be initiated by calling 850-644-TALK (8255). After-Hours Crisis Lines are available 24/7 at 850-644-TALK (8255).
FSU Libraries (Updated 4:25 p.m. ET Friday, Oct. 9)
FSU Libraries will resume normal operations at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10.

The Union will be open 11 a.m. to midnight, Saturday, Oct. 10.

The FSU Store, located in the Student Union, will resume normal operating hours on Saturday, Oct. 10.
Campus Postal Services
Campus Postal Services are closed, and all mail pick-up and package deliveries will be suspended. Operations will resume on Monday.

• Baseball's Fall Ball game against Auburn in Pensacola has been canceled.
• Men's Basketball's exhibition game against Mississippi State in Pensacola has been canceled.
• Lacrosse's Fall Ball games against Kennesaw State and Saint Leo at the Seminole Lacrosse Complex will no longer be open to the public.
• Softball's Fall Ball game against Troy at JoAnne Graf Field has been postponed to Sunday at 2 p.m.
